Sweet Surrender is an award-winning dessert café renowned for its decadent desserts.  It’s the perfect spot for those seeking a unique dessert experience. Open late, the café provides a warm and inviting atmosphere for anyone desiring dessert after dinner and away from the house.

Delights other than dessert can now be had as well. In July 2007, Sweet Surrender moved from the Highlands to Crescent Hill. The 1804 Frankfort Avenue location has allowed the café to expand its repertoire to include lunch.The strictly vegetarian lunch menu, featuring panini, salads, soups, and half slices of cake, is available Tuesday thru Saturday 11 a.m.-2 p.m.  

All of the desserts at Sweet Surrender are made from scratch on the premises, using only the finest of ingredients; the tasty results of which have been honored with eight Best of Louisville Awards and six LEO Readers Choice Awards.

Cakes, Pies and other desserts from Sweet Surrender can be ordered for birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, showers and other occasions. Catering is available for special events. The entire café menu has been approved dairy kosher for use at several local synagogues.
